Residency Resource Tools
This session offers strategies to strengthen a Family Medicine residency application by explaining how pass/fail Step 1 reporting increases the importance of the Experiences and Personal Statement sections of ERAS. Learners will develop skills to align their background, application materials, and personal statement with residency programs' missions and values, and to confidently address Family Medicine-specific and IMG-focused interview questions. Emphasis will be placed on clearly communicating a commitment to patient-centered, longitudinal care and collaborative, team-based practice.
