Faculty Development Collaborative (FDC)

"The best physician is the most ingenious inspirer of hope." - Samuel Coleridge

Faculty deverlopment connects Family Medicine educators and leaders across the Midwest to share best practices, provide a discussion forum, and train current and future residency faculty.

Members offer graduate and undergraduate faculty throughout the Midwest with the evolving skills needed to teach the next generation.

We welcome graduate and undergraduate medical education faculty, staff, trainees, and students, as well as the broader healthcare community who are interested in faculty development to join us as we

  • Build a group of medical educators in the Midwest who are interested in teaching and collaboration.
  • Offer a support system where undergraduate and graduate educators can come together, learn from each other, and share information with the broader medical community.

Recommendation: Programs should be prepared to identify a champion in their respective institutions for future collaboration.
