Student Support Funding

The Family Medicine Midwest Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a recognized leader in collaborative family medicine workforce development. Our mission is to shape the future of family medicine in our region. The states include Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

All donations help ensure student attendance by covering travel expenses for students from outside the local area. Since the 2026 FMM Conference will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana, students enrolled in Ohio medical schools qualify for travel support funding.  

The Illinois Academy of Family Physicians serves as the management organization for the Family Medicine Midwest Foundation.
